ABOUT THE FASHION EDITOR
Stacy Wallace-Albert is a fashion editor who belives that editing is as important as fashion. As the style & shopping editor of Chicago magazine for ten yearts, she was an enthusiastic researcher and inspired stylist.
Stacy is known for her spot-on assessments of people’s style strengths, and her passion and enthusiasm for editing closet contents to reveal a core of clothing that best reflect the wearer’s most flattering attributes and daily wardrobe needs. Her simple, elegant personal style and passion for the perfect white shirt was recently highlighted in the Chicago Tribune and resulted in a nationally acclaimed appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show.
In addition to contributing articles on style & shopping to national magazines, Stacy has been the on-air style editor for WBBM/CBS TV 2’s 11 AM News, a spokesperson for the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and the Illinois Board of Tourism, and lectured on fashion, wardrobe and career at the University of Chicago Business School, Columbia College, the Association of Image Consultants International, and for the Chicago Fashion Foundation.
Her motto is, "have fun getting dressed".
